  1. Oo! Exciting. I HATE the smoking in the casinos. The hate is a bit more this year since Im 7 months pregnant. I also hate how my feet feel when I get home. :( which will also be worse this year because of this lovely baby im going to pop out!

My husband and I got married there! Graceland Chapel + Elvis walking me down the aisle- FTW! So, it will always be AWESOME in my heart.

  8. love: that the amazing nature of the desert is a short drive away. (and a close second is quarter slots:) )

    hate: smelling like da club:)

  9. I love Vegas the way that I love rollercoasters. The first breath of that intoxicating scent reminiscent of cotton candy pumped into the air, girls draped in rhinestones and mariboo, the absence of clocks in rooms worthy of their own zipcode, and free drinks that cost you your life's savings... It makes me giddy.

I hate that if you are from Las Vegas, or any where in Nevada, people automatically assume that you or maybe a close relative is an alcoholic, chain-smoking prostitute with a lifetime membership to gamblers anonymous.

  12. LOVE: I love that anything can happen, and not just in the cliché way. From teaching a rapper on a street corner peddling his CDs how to play Rock,Paper, Scissor for an chance to win his music; to seeing Mike Tyson walk past you in a Casino! They are only in VEGAS experiences! Both happened to me, and I can't wait to see what is next!
HATE: I hate the cigar smoke! It lingers in the air creating dark clouds over the casino floor. It is inescapable. It infiltrates your clothes, hair, skin, and food. Even with the highest end filtration systems the hotels have it is always looming in the air!

  13. Love: the sunshine! Not enough of that here in Seattle! Hate: how freezing cold they make the casinos...who wants to have to wear a sweater when it's 80 degrees outside!

  14. I love the Bellagio fountain show, as cheesy as it may be...it gets me all emotional!

I hate the carpet...it makes me dizzy (or maybe I should blame THAT on the a-a-a-a-alcohol!)

  15. LOVE: Free drinks when your gambling, it's so nice of them to get you liquored up while you loose.

HATE: The guys in the neon t-shirts handing out escort cards and the strange clicking that comes from the cards slapping together. How do they do that?! Only in Vegas.

  16. I love feeling mildly successful after playing for an hour on the nickel slots and cashing in my winning voucher.

I hate realizing I didn't win as much money as I thought after calculating how much I actually put in.

  17. J'adore that Vegas is about so much more than gambling: the people, the food and more than anything the constant eye stimulation. Best place to people watch!

Je n'aime pas running out of time to see and do everything. There aren't enough hours in the day (despite not knowing the actual time from lack of daylight) to do everything or know how to pick what's best to do.

  18. love.....white polyester and plaid, the emptiness of the desert, and the all the Randy Quaid (cousin eddie) look-a-likes.

hate.....Losin' my dough at the blackjack tables; and my wife never actually lets me wear white polyester and plaid.....we'll see about that this year.

  20. I love that I could try a new restaurant every night, if I had the time and money!

I hate that I still get lost in casinos after living here for four years

  21. The only other time I went to Vegas was for a preggers friend wedding. To be nice I stayed sober to keep her company while the rest of the party got smashed. I want to experience Vegas with amazing people in an amazing way!

Also, I know a ton of peeps going and would love to get down on the dance floor with them!

    Thanks

  22. I'VE NEVER BEEN TO VEGAS! total loser right? I'm the kind of girl that would save her money to go on a random roadtrip to nowhere or buy a new lense or throw a little shindig, Vegas isnt my idea of a top priority of mine (but shhhh! it is a dream!) Do coins really pop out of machines? I really just want to go to show off my mad dancing skills =)
