Meet Christina

We decided to introduce you to the whole BP camp. Meet Christina, another one of our shop gals who is kicking butt and making us proud. 

Christina Contento's Inspiration Board: It's so hard to choose only a handful of things that make me smile, especially when there is so much talent and inspiration floating around out there on the interwebs. If I had to choose just a few, right now these lovelies make me one happy lady: lounging anywhere poolside with cocktails and good company, pb & j sandwiches, summer bike rides, stripes, big bows and trips to the thrift store. Come join me! 

First car: 1994 Honda Accord. That thing was a trooper.  Favorite vacation spot: Palm Springs and my family's lake house. It was originally my great grandparents and has been passed down through generations. I grew up spending the summers there for weeks at a time. It's a place full of childhood memories, sweet comfort, sunny days and warm nights. Favorite book: I love coffee table books, so for that I'd have to say The Selby. But I also secretly have a thing for tween novels and anything by Jodi Picoult. Favorite flower: Succulents + airplants. Those count as flowers at BP, right? Ranunculus too. Favorite drink: Moscow mule. Villains Tavern makes a dangerously good one with mango and candied ginger. Oh, and wine of course. Favorite shoes: I'm a flats girl all the way. Right now I'm loving my maryjane bow flats by Marais USA. Favorite song on the Glee soundtrack: Forget You with Gwenyth Paltrow. Favorite thing about working at BashPlease: Creativity oozes out of that place, Glee is on repeat and wine is served at 5 o'clock. Describe your ideal event or wedding: Modern vintage with a touch of whimsy. It'll be small, intimate and cozy. We'll laugh, cry and dance the night away. Good food, drinks and salty sweets will be had. It won't be just one night, it'll be a weekend spent with family and our closest friends. A perfectly curated celebration full of sweet details, unexpected surprises and confetti. How would you describe Paige and Kelly to their clients? They're the best friend you never had. I promise they'll throw you the most amazing party of your life, and they'll have fun doing it. They're two peas in a pod, reading one another's mind while each bringing something different to the table. You won't meet another duo like 'em. You'll fall in love with these ladies and uncontrollably covet their style. Is working at BashPlease the most fun you have ever had at a job? Hands down. Who is your favorite studio "rat"? Remy, Millie or Pickle? So not fair. They're all my favorite. Remy is pretty much a style icon over here. Millie is a sweetheart. And Pickle, I love her for reasons all her own.
